Index: <index name>
Columns: <column list>
Type: <B-tree|Hash|GIN|GiST>

Rules

  • Always use CONCURRENTLY for production index creation.
  • Name indexes descriptively: idx_table_column1_column2.
  • Do not create redundant indexes (check existing indexes first).
